This Bowl is 13" x 2 1/2" turned from Beech.

Always interesting to see a new concept and I can't help but wonder the practical problem of holding all 5 pieces in the correct position whilst the glue dried. I'm afraid to say that I don't actually like it, but I do appreciate the work.

I marked the positions and then glued them up one at a time not easy though.

George this is an unusual take on the bowl which I do like. The only thing that I would prefer to see is the bowl remounted and the feet smoothed to the inside bowl shape. Just my opinion mind. Otherwise I think this is a clever innovative piece.

I like this as is. Just thinking of two bowls the same, different wood and use the cut outs in different bowls as a contrast?
