hello folks

here is a purple hybrid box that I made recently
80mm tall by 60mm wide
finished with buffing wheels and compounds - described here

I think the finish is marvellous. The colours are lovely, if a bit strong for my taste. But to be quite honest, the shape doesn't do a lot for me. Purely personal taste, I just think it's a bit square.

I'm never sure what it is about your boxes, George, but your shape is always recognisable and a joy to see......( a bit like another George who we all know and love ;) )

Superb work George, there are only a limited few box makers that I admire, you are fast becoming one of them.

George,

I've always admired your ability with resin. The swirls in the resin in the top photo almost look like wood grain where a branch came through.
