Spalted Beech Bowl

I have not posted for a while so a couple of posts of recent jobs.
Sorry about the quality of any of my photos they are taken with my Iphone and the items are collected before I can get them home to take better pics.
This Spalted Beech bowl was 300mm x 75mm

Again, very nice. Especially like the details on the rim. Finishes the bowl off well.

Hi Steve,
               What a super Bowl I like the shape and the bead on the rim the finish superb was the wood punky at all with that spalting

Thanks Pete & John, yes a few punky patches but not too much considering the amount of spalting and managed to turn it clean.

It's not just the spalting, but the swirl of the grain that gives this life, a great bowl.
