Rough and Smooth

   These were turned from 3 different types of Oak hopefully showing the different grains rough smooth and colour.
   The 2 bowls are Brown Oak .... Vase Oak....Oblong  Holm Oak.
   As Always Comments Are Most Welcome

Personally I like them, any defects, natural ones, just make it for me personally.

such simple texturing or other small details make such a great difference to your work, although I'm sure the simpleness belights the work it took to create some of these.

Great looking work.

I love the mixture of textures in these pieces, it proudly shows the contrast between what is natural and what can be achieved through skill and imagination. Really like the leaf as well!

  I did manage to remove the lizard from the 2nd bowl before I took the photo..... Its a great pity I could not get the verdigris
  off that Tony put on  ::) ::)
