Sculptural piece fist in a series that you will see from me this piece is called "Light" as you can see light through two of the holes out of the line of three that look like black dots.

No problems with the overall quality but think that I would need to see this in the flesh to appreciate fully. I can see where you are going with it (I think) but it is one of those ideas that doesn't translate easily to 2 dimensional photos.

Hi Pete

Your quite right, but when your looking at the piece you cam see light through two of the hole which ever way you turn the piece, the third hole is just black.

All the best

I'll bet that this took quite a bit of working out, Ed....yet another piece that shows your ability to look outside the box....great finish on it, too.

That's a great concept ED and the type of wood you've used opens a world of colours or gilt for the next one. - overall a very nice piece.

Ed,

now you are reaching out into pure artforms.

Just a passing thought, wooden rings sized to fit the through holes with coloured gel (like theatre lights) would give it a whole new effect when placed in front of a window.
