Help Wanted
« on: June 09, 2016, 07:40:43 PM »

Can anyone assist on where to get top quality fountain pen kits ideally one I made a few years ago called a Retro 24k Gold and Rhodium fountain pent with superb quality nib, way better quality than a recent purchase I have made the pen clip is weak and the whole ting is well below par on the quality I want.

Must be gold finish.

In anticipation

Cheers Martin.

beaufort ink's new mistral is getting rave reviews, although I haven't tried it myself allot of my customers love it.
I have tried the bock nibs he sells and they are they are brilliant FP nibs.

Thanks for replying. Have spoken with Beaufort Ink and they are the quality I am after, just limited to the one model at the moment but they are to launch more in a few weeks.

Cheers Martin.

I guess you are fine but I recently made up a 'Statesman' pen from Turner retreat:-

And this is also the sort of quality you are looking for I think.  It writes well.

Have you looked at Taylorsmirfield he has some nice kits as well as Phil as mentioned above.

You could always buy a kit you like and change the nib for a good quality one again see Beaufort Ink for the nibs
