Little Horse Chestnut Bowl

Horse Chestnut Burr outside coloured with Chestnut spirit stain outside and finished with CA.

The inside and base have been finished with Osmo Hard Wax Oil.

Bowl has a around bottom wall thickness is 2mm diameter is 120mm and it's around 50mm tall

I like the Bowl a lot but for me the base does nothing for it

It's a beautiful little bowl, crisp and clean and a fine colour.

Ed, you need to name it something do do with the sea, I'm seeing the seabed through green tinged swirling water.

It does look good with the contrast between the inside and coloured outside.

But I'm with George, the base is wrong. It's too large and overpowering for the bowl.

    Like this Bowl very much Ed.... Burr Horse Chestnut takes some beating for taking colour with all the swirls and flashing
    in the wood showing up really well with a touch of colour
