I think this is beautiful and nicely photographed too, I do wonder if just one stand / leg would've been better though. . . . . . . . just my two penath
Maybe, but burrs like this can be very brittle, so to put all the stress on the joint between a single rod and the burr might have been too much, especially if somebody was less than careful handling it....the rod would have been drilled into the main body at its thinnest point. Also, you'll see from the picture that a centrally placed rod would have been much longer because of the outline of the burr, so it might have had more visual impact.
