Pen and stand
« on: October 22, 2016, 09:01:04 PM »
I know pens are not to everyone's liking, but I made these two for the Brother-in-laws on was in the RAF and the other in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.
So that is two more Christmas presents off of my list to do.

As attractive as the 'whole' is, I'm really taken by the flared pen ends - It's the simple things that appeal to some people!

One of those who aren't a big fan of pen turning but doesn't mean I can't appreciate good work or design. Love the peronal touch you have done with these
Pete
Turners don't make mistakes, they have design opportunities

That is why I don't post many on here. I think the addition is as you say a personal touch which does not make them cheep looking

I am generally not a fan of pens, but I like these two, especially the very stylish tail ends. Good stuff!
