No, its a simple question of how lazy we are, and we take to much for granted if it breaks get another .why do you think the lathes of yesterday lasted? Because they were built with good materials and decent workmanship plus it stands a chance that the lathes were owned by someone else, would you treat someone's property especially when he employees you.
Example you spend a few grand on a lathe then hope a sixty watt light bulb
Will keep moisture off our lathe get real.

I have to ask if this post is a wind up ?
Probably not. The posts have been poor grammatically and don't appear to have been proof read, so the author's message is rather unclear.

My reading of his comments is that the OP doesn't really understand the limitations and practicalities of woodturning yet. This explains why he's failed to appreciate the quality of the first replies that fully answer his original question.

I would have thought lazy only had one. Meaning ?
If we aim high enough we will a higher goal.
I hope this plain enough and grammatical correct for you.

I think now you've lost most of us.

"I would have thought lazy only had one." One what?
"If we aim high enough we will a higher goal". We will what? Attain? Destruct? Achieve? Hit?
"I hope this plain enough and grammatical correct for you". Should be "this is plain enough and grammatically correct..."

In additional to the grammatical and syntactical errors, I cannot observe how this reply connects to previous posts.

You really need to make a stronger effort in expressing yourself in complete sentences, otherwise people will either misunderstand your posts, or simply not bother responding. I recommend proof reading before hitting the "Post" button.

This is the bit that didn't make any sense

for every one inch or twenty five. Four of a millimetre it will
Multiply by its tangent.

It sounds like a quote from Yoda! ;)

What a load of crap.
I have just read through this thread and I am amazed how this Forum is going lately.
If somebody puts up a sensible topic nobody is interested but if it is tosh like this everybody and there mother jumps on board.
