I love the flame that has been brought out with the stain.
Can I ask what you are finishing with, a Gloss varnish or a build up of many layers of oil that has been allowed to polymerise.
Thanks Brian, glad you like it. I finished it with a gloss acrylic lacquer then polished it up.
