Another wee Hollow Form

Here's another wee hollow form I finished. 9" x 4.25" in sycamore with an African Blackwood finial and collar. TBH though the finial looks slightly short to me so I might have to re-do this one.  Finished with Chestnut stains and lacqured. C & C's welcome

Another cracking piece, you have had a productive January haven't you.....!!
The first piece, what struck me about it was the finial, great proportions and design.
With "Another wee Hollow Form", I think the collar and wider parts of the finial need to be fractionally wider, maybe a little longer as well but I think it's the width that makes is look slightly out of proportion. Take what I say with a pinch of salt though as photo's never quite do a piece justice.

Great work though and superb finish....both pieces.
