Advice please
« on: September 13, 2018, 11:32:26 PM »
I have been asked to make something for someone specifically from instrument grade African Blackwood. It must be Grade A wood, no expense spared. Their words not mine. Anyone got any ideas of a good source please? I kniow I can do a Google search but need to be sure that I get the best quality wood.

Sounds like an interesting project, hope it goes well.

Thanks Les, I'll check these out. Not anything very special, just a couple of pairs of chopsticks for a special occasion that have to be perfecrt and then tipped in silver. Don't ask LOL

Hello Pete,
I have used David Dyke in the past http://www.luthierssupplies.co.uk/ and Timberline as suggested by Les.
