My first turning for 35 yrs !

Hi after lots of advice on here and from YouTube etc I bought my first lathe this week and have just turned my first item since my teens (I’m 50 nearly) I know it’s very basic but it sense of achievement ! Thanks for all the advice and help

Only thing I can see to pick holes in is the orientation of the phot. Apart from that well done. As said all downhill now.

I still have my first few turned items from 10 years ago when I started, it has been an enjoyable journey, and YouTube can be a great source for ideas but don't entirely trust it for good practice.
