Hi All
This is my first post for quite a while, and was a real challenge to make. It is an Elm Burr and is about 11" x 8" and 4" tall. Thickness is about 4mm. Lots of superglue were used to keep it together and it is finished with Danish Oil. Feel free to comment, either way!!

(Is it just me or does the middle picture look a bit like Australia? albeit upside down!)

Hi All
Many thanks for all your comments, much appreciated. I found the best way to turn this was at high speed and very light cuts. I also had to "make" the natural edge at one spot with a dremel, due to whoever cut the burr off the tree, left a straight cut. Good fun though.

Hi All
Once again, many thanks for the comments. Every now and again you get a piece, which once complete you are really chuffed with, especially with a struggle, and this was one for me. Thanks again.
