I assume you must have a nice metal working kit list to make that , very good looking so far , Get back on it  :)

Thanks, yes I’ve got a milling machine and a lathe. I think I’ve worked out a simplified version of the base I intended to make, just need to order in some material.

Valkrider:
Looks like you have the makings of an ornamental lathe there. I will be interested to see some of your results from it.

Bill21:
The main reason for making it was to decorate some small, yet to be turned boxes. I’m not too interested in fluting things like spindles etc.
