As many of you must have guessed I wrote the original post with a specific 'Perfectacus' in mind. He contacted me yesterday and told me that after reading it and recognising himself he tried to work his latest project without a blueprint. Guess what? He had to give up the attempt, midway, to sharpen his favourite pencil. Can we read into this extensive data that 'Perfececus-ism' is down to nature not nurture?

Actually I was in the process of building the closet so was rendered exposed initially.
