Chuck jaws sizing jig

(1/2) > >>

simon:
Folks,

Fed up today of keep measuring spigots etc for chuck jaws.

20 mins, aluminium door push plate, stamps and centre punch and I’ll never have to get a rule out again to set my dividers.

(Btw - amazing how close some of the jaw sets are when you set them out like this in one place)

Good idea, but be careful not to knock it into the shavings, a magnet won't find it :).

Bill21:
Looks similar to a speed sizer.

There goes my chance at patent / marketing idea!   Yes, is similar, not quite as CNC perfect but £20 cheaper I guess!

Just bonding it onto piece thin ply then it will be mounted onto front of lathe bed for easy use (and so I know where it is and don’t lose it!)
