Primary colour wood dye/stains

Late to the party as always...

Ours aren't true primary colours, and officially we call them 'Rainbow Colours Plus' - it just gives us a good, collective name. The stains are fully intermixable to give an even wider range of possibilities.

The relevant test for toy safe products is Part 3 of BS EN-71, which covers coatings for toys and nursery furniture. Many of our products are tested to this, and we can provide certificates proving their suitability.

Stains need to have a coating over them to seal them in. As long as the top coat is toy safe, covers all of the stain and cannot be removed or broken away, the stain below does not need to be tested for toy safety.
