Twisted Trees:
It is a long shot but have you tried https://www.myford.co.uk/

Ian Brown:
will do, .ive tried just about every one else i was quoted 250 pounds to have one made,

ericroy:
Are you trying to make some unusual faceplates? There are plenty of standard ones available on eBay (see https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_nkw=ml8+faceplate+outboard&_sacat=0&_odkw=ml8+faceplate&_osacat=0) and it might be possible to use these as a starting point.

BrianH:
I have made a number of 'chucky bits' based on commercially available nuts bonded into wood with 2 pack glue. Clean the nuts and rough up the surfaces with a course file to improve the bond.
