No reason why us older turners can’t learn new techniques and use new ideas or ways of working.

New tools are taking away some of the ‘absolutes’ we have been persuaded to believe we need to understand and achieve proficiency in before we can be accepted as turners by our peers and professionals.

It might take a little longer to learn some things but it is good to have a continuing sense of mental challenge and achievement.

Phil, so true, there is at no time in life that any should stagnate, it is in being active, learning and practising we take on challenges and reach new achievements,  in any club at all ages we find very excellent work.

May I thank you for your continued valued opinions.   Cheers.            David
