Couple of pots from offcuts
« on: December 12, 2012, 01:58:18 PM »
These are made from some offcuts I had and stand approx 4" tall. The first is in oak, wire brushed and oiled with a walnut finial, second is in spalted sycamore.

Critique etc welcome.

I've got to go with the brushed oak pot, although the finial could be just a little more delicate.

Can't fault them, both are excellent, like the form and finish, the only thing is as Bryan has commented an that is the finial, maybe the base need less of a curve, be a little flatter and add some more detail, that's just me.
