Lazy day
« on: August 04, 2014, 11:57:23 AM »
With a weekend of shows over, a few larger commissions out the way and some just come in, (200 tapestry bobbins, couple of pairs wedding goblets) I am having a lazy day doing nothing important. The nice thing is I don't feel guilty. I have a couple of demos and two day shows coming up in the next week or two so I need to build my strength as well as my stock up LOL. Workshop is locked up and I have no intention of going in it until tomorrow.

Pete,

Down Time, something we all need - and it must nearly be time to 'blow the froth off a cold one.'

Oh Lord, Lead me not into temptation…

...Oh who am I kidding, follow me, I know a shortcut!

I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?

....and from one who has seen the show that you put on for a street-fair, I'd say that the day off is well deserved. Enjoy it, Pete, and do it more often!

Education is important, but wood turning is importanter.
