Display at ArtWorks

Over the last month or so, I've been in discussion with an organisation called ArtWorks. It's a small, non-profit making organisation set up to promote the work of local artists, in the beautiful sea-side town of Aberdyfi, famed both far and wide for its sailing and golfing facilities. I have been accepted as a 'Showcase artist' and a half-dozen of my pieces are now installed, right inside the front entrance....the first thing that visitors will see once they're through the door, and the last thing that they will see before they leave.
Tickled pink doesn't even start to say how I feel tonight!

Brilliant. It is special when you are accepted like that isn't it? Hope it brings plenty of queries and commissions for you.

Well I've seen it all now ... with a Pink Welshman ... well done Les. Here's wishing you get to be permanent Artist in residency.
All the hard work pays off in the end. Well done again. Cheers Dewi

I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?

When did you say you were going full time Les? You have been turning such a short time and yet you are producing work that vies with some of the best.
