Pot of Gold MK ll

Well I had various bits of feedback on the first Pot of Gold so processed the comments and this is MK ll
Some sort of Pine 300mm x 130mm
Love to know what you think

Fantastic, great finish and personally I prefer this to mark 1 as the "decoration" complements the wood allowing the grain and features to have the star role. Look forward to mark3

I really like this version Ed, except, perhaps, the neck is a touch to big ? May well be the angle of the photo though.

I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?

Think You have captured something there ED... do like it...... Its a good finish and balanced well between the pine
and texture which is striking. The only thing maybe is that the foot seems to stop the flow from top to base
so detracting the eye from a nice piece Sorry.

The shape is not quite for me, but it's not the vase, it's the decoration,
The banding an applied effect (I've got to try this) really make this piece stand out.
