I had a great day at our club(Norwich Woodturners) yesterday,Sue Harker did a demonstration day covering segmented turning,offset turning of a broach and back to back turning,the morning was covering the segmented turning,showed in stages from the start to the finished article,only seen this in books before,it makes you understand the complexities of this type of turning more,so maybe I`ll have a go at this in the future,then it was a piece of offset turning,a broach made from polyester,(more ideas) and lastlyback to back turning,had heard of inside out turning,but until I got my AWGB woodturning quarterly had never heard of or seen this,this is one I`m sure a lot of club members will try before the next club night,me included,it was a great day watching and learning,and Sue is a wonderful demonstrator,covering most questions that would normally be asked by members and I hope the other members had just as good a day as I did,cheers,
