Very nice, Jason. If I compare this piece to the other one where you used similar techniques, I'd have to say you went a little overboard with the carving, for my taste. I think less would have been more in this case. Other than that this is certainly a striking platter.

The term 'Cosmic Storm' comes to mind. I like the amount of decoration/carving on this....what did you use to create the red dappled blotches?

I'm still seeing the dot's on a CD.

How about one with a silver/rainbow effect before the carving.

Laz - There must be something on U-tube on centrifuge technique, its been around for 30 years! keep meaning to do one myself, but I like turning more than videoing!
