I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?

I'm planning on going tomorrow. I hope there isn't any wood to buy or I might not be able to resist the temptation!

These photos were taken on the Saturday morning before the show was open.
The club stands arent at their best as the three best pieces from each stand have been moved to the judging table for best in show

It was the first time in a few years I had visited the show because for the last few years it clashed with another event I attended. I thought there was a good turnout from the clubs and there were some interesting pieces of work on display. I went away with a few new ideas as well as some nice pieces of wood
