Chestnut bowl

Todays little effort from the workshop a small chestnut burr, Finished with sander sealer and buffed on a three wheel buffer. Measures 6" X 3 1/4". I had to tidy the top rim up as a piece broke off making it look untidy for a natural edge
C & C welcome

Derek,
a great bowl.
The discolouration as seen in the top and bottom pics look like a storm at sea, shame there is not more of it in the wood, that would have looked amazing.

Don't you just love Chestnut ?
Lovely lines to this bowl and I think that the blend of natural edges and finished edges actually works in its favour. Nice one.
