Unfortunately many people are 'conned' by ebay promoting itself as the cheapest source of everything, when the sellers ofen inflate the prices. Amazon are selling the same tool for £114.99. But both prices are ludicrous! And no matter the cost, the tool itself is a joke, limited by the length of the actual parting section. And why are the Americans so fixated on carbide!!
To add to my amusement, I have just been reading some of the reviews of this tool, several of which complain that 'the cutters keep popping out and getting lost in the shavings'. Now that has never happened with my £22, 12 year old, parting tool, which takes seconds to 'replace' a blunt tip!!
An Update:-
Appears, from his ebay feedback, that the seller is a dropshipper, which would explain his price over Amazon.
